The reason that we bought this home is the convenience and closeness to family and friends. The neighborhood was well kept. The ability to choose a new restaurant every night was also enticing. Travel time to the turnpike is almost nothing. Everything about the location was perfect for my family.
The best and most prominent exterior features would be the long driveway and amazing back patio area. Covered and uncovered areas give you the opportunity to host company with no problems. The grounds have been well kept and make the house look exceptional. Interior features would be the full basement with so much potential. Spacious rooms and very homey feel. The office area gives you that much more space to decorate just the way you would like it.
Convenience is key. With a handful of daycares and preschools to choose from, we were able to find the school that was right for our daughter. Being native to the area, I am familiar with how great the schools for older children are such as Cumberland Valley. Very diverse and many opportunities to be had attending this school.
In the surrounding area, you have Giant Foods, Wegmans, Weis Market and a couple of mom-and-pop stores to choose from. All that are relatively close to each other. It is impossible to name just one restaurant that we frequent due to the amount of variety. Personally, Evergrain is one stop to enjoy an evening with your friends or family to catch a bite to eat and wash it down with adult beverages!
Central PA is such an ideal area to live in. You are located close to a handful of cities with such a short drive. Hampden township alone has many different activities for families to enjoy. Central PA is a very enjoyable place to raise your family.
