Dear Potential Buyer,
Over the last 3 years, I have loved living in this townhome in Sloan’s Lake neighborhood. The neighborhood has changed so much in the last few years, and it has been exciting to get to see all of the new development. I especially enjoy that I can now walk to several breweries and restaurants. My fiancé and I love walking over to Tap & Burger for a quick bite or around the lake to Rupert’s for brunch (where they remind you that brunch without mimosas is just late sad breakfast).
That brings me to the lake. I have spent many Friday afternoons walking around the lake to Joyride with my computer, working with a beer for the afternoon, and walking home at dusk. I’ve walked my puppy and run with my fiancé around the lake so many times. I absolutely love being so close to such a great place to be active – whether it is walking, running, or playing tennis.
Then there’s the home itself. This was my first home, and I am going to miss it, especially the rooftop deck. I spend as much time up there as possible. I like to start my mornings at home with a warm cup of coffee, sometimes a blanket, and the sunrise from the deck. It’s such a calming and focusing way to get going in the morning. In the warm months, I use my table on my rooftop more than the one in the kitchen. It is where I host my dinner parties, and I call it the best room in the house.
But I’ve loved the rest of the house as well. I’ve found the open floor plan on the main level to be a great place to enjoy evenings or even have meetings. The high end kitchen has made it easy to continue my ongoing quest to become as good of a cook as my mom is. It also made it easy to host, as the guests could mingle and stand around the island while things were finishing up.
Moving upstairs, we have the bedrooms. I used the second bedroom as my office, as I work from home when I’m not traveling. I love walking across the hall into a completely different space that is solely for my work. While that’s how I’ve used it, it easily makes a good guest or roommate room. I’ve had a revolving door of guests on my couch in there. Everyone wants to visit Denver!
