We moved into this home about 10 years ago after outgrowing our smaller home in the same neighborhood. With the incredible amount of storage space available in this home, we no longer needed a separate storage unit in town and were actually able to use our garage for our cars. We were originally drawn to the neighborhood by the good schools that are a short walk away. We also love the proximity to the Neuse River trail, the various shops and businesses within walking distance. Our children are in college now so it is time to downsize. We will miss all of these things when we leave.
Clayton has a small town feel with many amenities. It has great schools and Athletic Club within walking distance.
We usually grab a bite or drink at Simple Twist and Flipside. We also have Food Lion, Drug store, Restaurants, Veterinarian and pett grooming within walking distance for our groceries and other conveniences.
We love this area because of its proximity to the Research triangle and not far from the beach. Every year we look forward to attending the neighborhood Tree lighting and numerous events in downtown Clayton.
The first things that stood out to us about this home were its great location, huge amount of storage, first and second floor master bedrooms, and large two car garage! If you love golf, Cycling, Jogging, kayaking, this home is perfect for you.
