Sellers have done their preparation and made this home move in ready! Home has been pre inspected, fresh paint, new laminate wood floors to replace some areas that previously had carpet. All for you!
Private flat backyard, large front yard, two story entry way, hardwood stairs! 2 master bedrooms, one on first floor! Space Galore!
We have two small kids and have really enjoyed the yard. It has been great to get outside and have a nice safe play area in the front and the back. The house has lots of storage and is comfortable to have guests over without feeling crowded. We have had birthday and holiday parties with 15 or more people in the house. The downstairs has a great flow to it to accommodate parties. The island has been used extensively as we plug in our fryer to cook fried chicken, okra, funnel cake, etc. We also use the island to use the slow cooker so we can have a hot meal right after picking up the kids from school.
We love the friendly people and the sense of community of Clayton! Love the spacious lots and homes with mature trees. Very pretty community. We use to ride around this community years ago when we lived in Clayton before buying.
We usually go to McCall's, Bojangles and Firehouse Subs to eat or grab a drink. For groceries and other conveniences, there is Food Lion at the Riverwood Athletic Club area. It is the best grocery store in Clayton. It is spacious and has friendly staff.
The first thing that stood out to us about our home was the lot which is really beautiful! Gradual hill in the front gives the house a nice boost above the other houses around it. Also, the back yard is amazing as it is flat and open.
Geographically, we enjoy being between Clayton and Knightdale. Very easy commute to either one for shopping and dining. Also, enjoy being close enough to 540 to go into Raleigh area.
There is also a golf course in this community and then you have privileges to visit Riverwood Athletic Club and Lionsgate pools. We really like the lazy river at Lionsgate. The staff at riverwood elementary have been very good to work with and easy to reach out to when we needed them.
For our utility bills, the electric runs around $250. We lease the gas for the fireplace and we pay a yearly $59 fee. You can take the trash to the local landfill dump on your own for a yearly fee of $100 or you can use waste industries or another local trash pickup. Internet is Time Warner and/or Century Link. They both have different speed levels so it would depend on which one you prefer. We use both since we work from home and depend on the internet to work. Only in a extreme emergency would we need to switch over. Water is around $50 a month.
